Slim Up uses MIDBODY software to schedule services and manage client information. Below are answers to frequently asked questions:

Q: Why a consultation? 

A: We are one of the best in NYC to help with body curves and skin rejuvenation. We provide a free consultation to not only educate clients but recommend specific treatments to help with their goals. 

Q: Why are their taxes when I redeem my voucher? 

A: Sales tax collection for, third party purchases, fall under the responsibility of Slim Up LLC. 

Q: How often should I schedule my body treatments? 

A: The average is between 4 and 10 days. 

Q: How often should I schedule my facial treatments? 

A: Face treatments are very relative to the intensity of the condition. But should be as close as once a week or as far as 6 weeks.  

Q: What happens if I am having treatments in other Med-Spa? 

A: You should give a gap of two to four weeks to change Med-Spa.

Q: Should I stop my face or body treatment if I have my period? 

A: Yes, If you are in the first 3 days, to avoid uncomfortable incidents during treatments. 

Q: Should I stop treatment if I am sick? 

A: Definitely, your body needs to concentrate on healing. 

Q: How do I review my appointments history, my upcoming schedule or update my billing info? 

A: You must have or create your Log-In. Then click “MY ACCOUNT” in the upper right corner from the schedule page.   

Q: What if I forgot my password? 

A: Click on “Create New Password?” in the bottom of the Log-In We will send a link to create a new password to the email stored on your account.  

Q: How do I view your services? 

A: Click on the tabs at the top of the calendar screen that list our services or go to MINDBODY app and select SLIM UP in the business search then click the service tab. 

Q: How do I purchase your services, products, and gift certificates? 

A: All available gift cards and products can be accessed through your profile in the Online Store tab. Click on the respective tab. or in MINDBODY app. Once you find the service that you would like to purchase, you can book it and pay for it from MINDBODY with a credit card or pay in person at the spa. Services, products and gift certificates availability are subject to change.  

Q: What happens if I need to reschedule within 24 hours? 

A: AS OUR POLICIES.”Late Cancellations, No Shows or Tardiness will not be tolerated. Clients must cancel at least 24 hours before their scheduled appointment time online to avoid unwanted fees. Client emails, voicemails, or texts do not guarantee cancellation. Services will begin and end on time as a courtesy to the next guest. We understand that sometimes being late is unavoidable. However, under no circumstances, we will start treatments for late customers. The session will be discounted immediately from any series or packages and/or charged in full for scheduled services. Clients from Groupon deals with two infractions will lose the deal’s promotional value. Please arrive 5 minutes in advance of your treatments to ensure ample time for check-in. To manage your appointment rescheduling changes can be made online at www.slimupnyc.com 

THESE ARE OUR BASIC ETIQUETTE ANNOUNCEMENTS 

  • Be mindful of cellphone use, and try only texting. 
  • We are pet-friendly; small pets are ok but please keep our little friends in their carriers. 
  • Guests should not bring big packages, extra companions, food, alcoholic beverages or any drugs to the spa. 
  • Be mindful of valuables. As we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
